This film is a part of their greater “Age Reimagined” series. The series explores how people and communities are rethinking aging. The StoryPoint Group feature spotlights the meaningful impact and innovative work of the organization’s culinary team.

Across the globe, a demographic shift is transforming the fabric of society. In 2018, there were more people over age 64 than children under five years old for the first time in recorded human history, and by 2050, the number of people aged 60 and over is expected to double, according to the United Nations World Population Prospects. While longer lifespans are a triumph of modern progress, they can also raise a critical question: how can older adults experience these extra years in better health, with stronger purpose, and a deeper connection? Through cinematic storytelling, “Age Reimagined” explores how health, purpose, and connection are redefining aging.
