Organization Day marks the annual first roll call of all state lawmakers. This day also provides members of the Senate and House of Representatives with the opportunity to meet before session officially reconvenes in January. By state law, the 2024 session will conclude on or before March 14.

“Last session, we passed a number of meaningful bills I authored to improve public safety, bolster our local economy and more,” Walker said. “This session I hope to continue work in these areas to make Indiana an even better place to live, work, visit and raise a family.”

As the 2024 session gets underway, Walker encourages residents of Senate District 31 to contact him with any questions or comments they may have. Walker can be reached via email at Senator.Kyle.Walker@iga.in.gov or by phone at (800) 382-9467.

State Sen. Kyle Walker (R-Lawrence) represents Senate District 31, which includes portions of Hamilton and Marion counties.
