The Easter Express is back, and if you’ve ridden before, you know just how special this experience is. Year after year, it’s one of NPX’s most-loved spring traditions, and tickets go quickly.
Climb aboard for a 65-minute round-trip rail adventure departing from Hobbs Station in Noblesville. As the train rolls through Hamilton County’s northern countryside, guests will enjoy blooming scenery, a springtime story, a sweet treat, and NPX’s signature drink. Along the way, you’ll help a farmer search for some misplaced eggs believed to be hidden somewhere along the Nickel Plate Express.
It’s a cheerful, low-key spring outing designed especially for families … and a perfect way to kick off the season.

- Standard Seating: Classic railroad-style seating (ages 2 and under ride free as a lap child in standard seating only)

Spring Railbike Rides are back
Looking for a fresh-air adventure? NPX’s railbike rides are rolling back into action this spring, and they’re a completely different way to experience the railroad.
Railbikes run on multiple dates throughout the season, and each ride offers its own unique experience. Whether you’re cruising through the woods, pedaling into downtown, or riding at twilight, there’s a railbike ride to match your vibe.
- Forest Park Rail Adventure: A seven-mile railbike ride through wooded areas and farmland in Northern Hamilton County. This ride is perfect for friends and families looking for a leisurely outdoor adventure.
