Spencer Lee Carr, 56, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on October 11, 1963 to Jerrell and Mary (Scircle) Carr in Noblesville.
Spencer was a Sheridan High School graduate, where he was a proud Blackhawk swimmer. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Butler University where he ran track and cross country and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Spencer was an avid cyclist, Indy Car fan, Notre Dame sports fan, and Corvette lover. He was involved in many clubs throughout his years. Spencer loved his kids and family. In his death, Spencer was a hero by donating his organs so others could continue living.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jennifer Carr; son, Jacob Spencer Carr; daughter, Madeline Jane Carr; brother, Dennis (JoAnn) Carr; and nephews, Micah Carr and Owen Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Pastor Donald Bartemus officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. The family encourages the wearing of masks and the practice of social distancing at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan at a later date.
