Southeastern takes down Christel House at home

Hamilton Southeastern won a Friday home game 62-49 over Christel House Academy.

The Royals led 16-14 after one quarter, but the Eagles came back for a 26-23 advantage by halftime. Southeastern took over in the second half, outscoring Christel House 39-23 during that time.

Donovan Hamilton was dominant, earning double-double status with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Nate Orr added 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists, while Maverick Young drained four 3-pointers for 12 points. Kam Anthony collected eight rebounds and Michael Griffith pulled seven rebounds.

The Royals are 3-3 and play in the Homestead Tournament next week. Southeastern begins the event with two Wednesday games, taking on Mishawaka Marian at 10 a.m. and Valparaiso at 6 p.m.
