Sogility, 16500 Southpark Drive, Westfield, has announced the hiring of Samantha Dewey as the new Director of Athlete Development.
When growing up, Dewey made a name for herself playing soccer in Indianapolis. She played with the Indiana Fire Academy and Xavier University and as a professional, she had stints at Real Betis and SC Heerenveen.
“The opportunity to impact players at the youth and professional level through athlete development close to where I grew up playing is surreal,” Dewey said.
“We are extremely excited to add someone to our staff with the experiences and expertise that Samantha has in her background,” Sogility CEO Jimmy Carson said. “She has worked with many athletes in our facility already and all speak so highly of her.”
Dewey graduated with degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology. She joined Sogility in September 2022 as a trainer and is excited to explore and implement more of the mental side of athlete development.
