Westfield won a wild all-county game at Noblesville Tuesday, by the score of 15-10.
The Millers took a big lead in the first inning by scoring four runs. Scout Duplaga doubled in Bella Schatko, then Gabby Fowler batted in Taylor Thompson and Tatum Ball (running for Duplaga) with a center field hit. Fowler later scored on Carly Motz’s sacrifice bunt.
Noblesville’s lead became 6-0 in the second inning. Erin Clark got home on an RBI fielder’s choice by Thompson, then Reis Sjoholm scored on Duplaga’s RBI groundout.
But the Shamrocks took over in the second inning. Cara Snedeker connected on a three-run home run, also scoring Marissa Stormer and Maggie Roh. Samantha Breaux singled in Avery Parker, then Chloe Tanner batted Breaux home. Morgan Squires came up next, and her right field single scored Avery Banas and Allie Dolenc. Westfield now had the lead, 7-6 and would not trail again.
Parker added two runs with one swing in the fourth inning, sending a homer over the right field fence. Snedeker also scored. Tanner led off the fifth inning with a solo home run.
Snedeker doubled in three runs later in the fifth, scoring Roh, Squires and Mya Hughes. Parker got home on Avery Banas’ sacrifice fly, then Tanner then cracked an RBI single into right field to score Breaux.
The Millers scored two runs in both the fifth and sixth innings. Fowler led off the fifth with a homer, then Lala Blower singled in Lauren DeRolf. Fowler smacked her second home run in the sixth inning, and Motz batted in DeRolf.
It was a big-hitting game. Tanner was 4-for-5 at the plate, with Roh getting three hits. Tanner pitched a complete game for the win.
Fowler and DeRolf both had three hits. Lulu Van Beek also went the distance, striking out eight.
Westfield improved to 10-4 and plays at Kokomo on Friday. Noblesville is 7-5 and plays this afternoon at Cathedral.

Carmel cruised past Ben Davis 11-1 Tuesday in a five-inning game at Cherry Tree Softball Complex.
The Greyhounds opened things up in the third inning by scoring seven runs. Hope McDonald hit a three-run home run during that inning, then Paxton Law connected on a two-run homer later. Elsa Morrison led off the fifth with a home run, then Sophie Esposito finished the game with a triple, which scored two runs and gave Carmel the run-rule victory.
Esposito also hit a double, as did Morrison and Kyle Cunningham, while Lily Sullivan hit two doubles. Law pitched all five innings for the win.
The Greyhounds are 8-5 and play at Zionsville this afternoon.

Guerin Catholic dropped a 7-5 game to Lafayette Central Catholic Tuesday at the Golden Eagles’ field.
The Knights took control of the game early, scoring four runs in the first inning and two more in the second. Guerin Catholic scored one run in the first inning; Anna Mauch got home on Kirsten Mascari’s center field hit.
The Golden Eagles rallied in the sixth inning, putting up four runs. Olivia Spomer doubles in Natalie Eiler, then Lucy Kemp batted Lillian Everts home. Madi Cain’s sacrifice bunt scored Spomer, then Mauch got Lucy Kemp home on a single.
Izzy Kemp also hit a double, and pitched five innings, striking out 13.
Guerin Catholic is 4-3 and plays a Circle City Conference game today at Brebeuf Jesuit.
