Softball: Golden Eagles fall to Bishop Chatard in sectional semifinal

The Guerin Catholic softball team fell to Sectional 27 host Bishop Chatard 9-1 Wednesday in a semifinal game.

The Golden Eagles scored their run in the seventh inning when Lucy Kemp got home on a passed ball. Madi Cain had two hits, a double and a single, while Kemp hit one single.

Guerin Catholic finished its season 2-15. The Trojans play Hamilton Heights in today’s sectional championship game.
