Soccer: Southeastern & Sheridan girls, Heights boys all get wins

The Noblesville and Fishers boys soccer teams played to a 1-1 tie Tuesday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game at the Tigers’ field.

The Millers scored first, as a Ben Hewitt kick deflected off a Fishers defender and into the net. But the Tigers got the goal back just before halftime when Caleb Hernandez scored, with Cole Anderson making the assist.

Noblesville travels to Brownsburg tonight for another HCC game, while Fishers plays at Carmel.

Hamilton Southeastern’s girls team got an HCC and Senior Night win over Avon Wednesday, 2-1.

Izzy Kistler scored in the first half for the Royals, assisted by Norah Wans. In the second half, the Orioles tied the game off a corner kick, but Sloan May scored the game-winner with 1:11 left, assisted by Blair Satterfield.

Sheridan’s girls took care of Herron 11-0 on Wednesday.

Cecilia Timme scored the Blackhawks’ first goal, with her sister Sadie Timme making the assist. Sheridan led 10-0 at halftime, then scored one more in the second half.

Sheridan hosts Western Boone at 5:30 p.m. today.

Noblesville and Fishers’ girls teams played to a 2-2 tie in a Wednesday HCC game.

Hamilton Heights boys’ team beat Anderson 6-2 on Tuesday.

Micah Colvin scored three goals for the Huskies, with Phoenix Vondersaar scoring two goals and making two assists. Sam Harpham had one goal and three assists, while Cameron Wheat dished out one assist.

Sheridan’s boys dropped their home opener Monday to Herron 6-0.

The Blackhawks play this afternoon at Western Boone.
