Hamilton County baseball players got quite a bit of attention from Prep Baseball Report Indiana.
The website announced its All-State teams on Wednesday and had six local players on its various lists, beginning with five county players on First Team.
The five first team players begin with senior Tate Troxell from Guerin Catholic, who helped the Golden Eagles to the Class 3A state championship in June. Troxell is headed to the University of Alabama.
Three infielders made the First Team list: Guerin Catholic junior Ben Canada, Noblesville senior Aiden Reynolds and University senior Beckett Suh. Guerin Catholic senior outfielder Ian Taylor also was named to the First Team.
University senior outfielder Ryan Castetter received Second Team All-State honors.
