The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has received numerous complaints about possible fraudulent telephone calls to county residents. The callers claim to be Deputies from HCSO and are requesting money for missed court cases.
HCSO does NOT ask for any type of monetary payment over the phone. If you have received a call like this or you are unsure if the call is valid, please call (317) 773-1872, or the non-emergency dispatch number at (317) 773-1282.
Remember to NEVER give out any personal information over the phone if you are unsure of the source or feel that the call may not be valid.
