The Sheridan boys basketball team won its home opener 49-46 over Anderson Prep Academy Saturday at Hobbs Memorial Hall.
The Blackhawks led 9-3 after the first quarter, but the Jets came back to hold a 21-17 advantage at halftime before Sheridan made its own comeback to get the win.
Stats were not available at press time.
The ‘Hawks are 1-1 and host Faith Christian on Tuesday.
