Sheridan traveled to Speedway on Tuesday and came home with a solid win, as the Class 2A Blackhawks drove past the 3A Sparkplugs 61-42.
Sheridan got out to a good start, leading 16-7 after the first quarter. The ‘Hawks cruised their way to halftime with a 29-15 lead, then went up 45-25 after three quarters.
Kenzie Garner had another outstanding game, earning a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds. Garner also had five assists, four steals and two blocked shots. Cecilia Timme contributed 14 points and dished out eight assists. Sadie Timme pulled nine rebounds.
The Blackhawks are 14-3 and host Guerin Catholic Tuesday.
