On June 2 and 3, Sheridan Main Street, Inc. held three Community Planting Days. Alongside the Sheridan Fire Department, the Sheridan High School Football Team, and other community members, they were able to truly make Sheridan Main Street sparkle.

Together, they planted 1,200 plugs, plants, and seedlings along the Monon Trailhead leading to the Art Alley. With the help of the Main Street Landscape Design Team they made the town come to life.

The Landscape Design Team is a task force from Sheridan Main Street, Inc. They shared their knowledge of gardening with the volunteers. Together, they have 58 years of Master Gardener experience. They designed the planting beds, managed the installation, and worked with our volunteers to educate them on how to keep our community beautiful and cared for.

Led by Deb Rood, Terry Luley, Judy Langdon, and Jane Catlin, they were pivotal parts of the Community Planting Day.
