Submitted

Sheridan’s favorite time of the year is fast approaching. With exactly two weeks left to prepare, the Sheridan 4th of July Committee would like to welcome readers to the town’s annual festival. The fun is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 4 at Sheridan Biddle Memorial Park, 608 E. 10th St.

By working with local not-for-profits, the committee will provide a vast selection of festival food options. All food vendors this year will raise money for either their church, community group, or local youth programs.

Along with food vendors, the committee is excited to announce there will be a free kid zone provided by American Water, which has also agreed to provide free water to everyone in attendance. There will also be shopping opportunities, fun activities and contest for everyone of all ages.

In the lineup for live entertainment, the committee is excited to announce two local musical groups who will perform on the main stage. Local country artist Isaac Rudd and the Revolvers will be live from 3 to 5 p.m. Also joining the live entertainment will be the Thursday Night Specials from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Most importantly, everyone is invited to witness the largest fireworks show Sheridan has ever presented.  Fireworks will start promptly at dark.

The Sheridan 4th of July Committee is very excited to provide the community with a low-cost, fun-filled day of activities for everyone of all ages. The surrounding communities are invited to join Sheridan on Thursday, July 4 for the Annual 4th of July Festival.
