Sheridan fell to Class 1A No. 3 Carroll 28-0 on Friday to finish the regular season.
The Cougars got on the board with a short run touchdown in the first quarter, then made long touchdown runs in the second and third periods. A 26-yard passing touchdown finished the scoring in the third quarter.
Jon Barnes led the Blackhawks’ rushing with 52 yards. Dayne Voege caught a 48-yard pass from Owen Bell, the lone reception of the night.
Sheridan finished 4-3 in the conference and is 4-5 overall. The Hawks travel to Clinton Central next Friday for a first-round game in Sectional 46.
