Sharon Lee Ducate Bedinger, 80, of Carmel, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was born on November 2, 1936 in Shreveport, LA, to the late Jack and Lena Hogan Ducate.
Sharon taught sixth grade at Carmel Middle School before retiring in 1998. She also volunteered at Carmel St. Vincent hospital.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Brian Kelley. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, David Bedinger; twin sister, Shirley; brother, Doug (Judy); children, Keith (Lorri); daughter Paige (Rob); daughter-in-law Debbie; stepson Tom; grandchildren, Matt, Andy, Brooke, Zack, Bronson, Jacob and Zane and great-grandchild, Logan.
Family and friends gathered on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Church at the Crossing, Indianapolis. A Celebration of Life Service took place on Friday, March 3 in the church. A private burial for the family followed in Farley Cemetery.
