Westfield dropped a back-and-forth game to Rushville 43-41 Saturday afternoon at The Rock.
The Lions led 17-11 after the first quarter, but the Shamrocks came storming back in the second period, holding Rushville to only four points. Westfield led 25-21 at halftime. But after an even third quarter, the Lions outscored the ‘Rocks 14-8 in the fourth.
Alyssa Crockett scored 19 points for Westfield, including three 3-pointers. Crockett also had eight rebounds, four steals and three blocked shots. Ava Henson scored nine points.
The Shamrocks are 4-5 and play Tuesday at Carmel.
