An annual tradition at the Ice at Carter Green, the City of Carmel will open the ice for a special, sensory-friendly skate session. Sessions will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 26. These sessions are for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder or any type of special need and their family members. Walkers and wheelchairs are allowed on the ice during this time. There is no charge to skate.
