U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) recognizes students who participated in the first session of his summer internship program in his Washington, D.C. and Indianapolis offices. The students assisted with daily activities and special projects related to legislation, communications, and constituent services.

The Washington, D.C. intern class included Evan McDonnell, a second year master’s student attending Georgetown University; Caroline Modrall, a recent graduate from Carmel who attended Purdue University; Mya Hardin, a senior attending Purdue University; Rex Burkman, a senior from Westfield attending the University of Notre Dame; Jack Kirsch, a junior from Schererville attending Indiana University Bloomington; Makenna Watson, a junior from Fishers attending Purdue University; and Jack Henning, a senior from Granger attending Indiana University Bloomington.

The Indianapolis intern class included Eli Adams, a sophomore from Fishers attending Indiana University Bloomington; Yoezer Cassell, a junior from Indianapolis attending Hope College; and Georgia Carlson, a senior from Terre Haute attending Indiana University Bloomington.

Sen. Young’s office offers internship opportunities year-round, in both his Washington, D.C. and Indiana offices. The internship program offers students the opportunity to experience the legislative branch of government and serve Hoosiers.
