With a little help from the community, the City of Carmel will formally unveil 14 brand-new mosaic butterflies created by local artist Nancy Keating.
The public is invited to the unveiling, set for 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 at 591 Monon Blvd., behind Midtown Flats.
These colorful works of art now grace the wall of Midtown Flats, facing the Monon Greenway, adding to the very first butterfly installed in 2023. Each piece is a product of Keating’s community chip-in events, where neighbors and visitors helped bring the vision to life.
