The Noblesville boys golf team hosted the annual Bob Spacey Invitational Saturday at Fox Prairie.
Hamilton Southeastern won the team event, scoring 303. This is the second consecutive Saturday that the Royals were invite winners, as they took the Danville Invitational last Saturday with a score of 300. Cole Starnes finished second individually for the Royals with a score of 72.
“The boys are being consistent, they’re taking it one shot at a time, doing everything that we worked on in practice, so couldn’t be any happier,” said HSE coach David Young.
Fishers was the runner-up with a team score of 314, with Jack Huber carding an 81. Noblesville’s Gold team took fourth with a 320. Will Perkins and Alex Peck both carded 77s for the Millers.
Hamilton Heights finished with a team score of 360. Garrett James led the Huskies with a score of 86.

Guerin Catholic won the Lake Central Classic last Saturday at Sandy Pines in Demotte, with a team score of 291.
Golden Eagles senior Andrew White was the medalist with a 68, winning a playoff over teammate Jacob Modleski. Leo Wessel scored 77, Ben Burgan 78 and Connor McNeely 79.
Carmel placed fourth at the Lake Central Classic with a team score of 311. Sam Booth led the Greyhounds with a 76, followed by Shoji Fujita 77, Owen Sander 78, Joe Armfield 80 and Patrick Michael 82.
