Royals drop road game to No. 11 Wildcats

Hamilton Southeastern traveled to Lawrence North for its season finale on Tuesday, with the IBCA No. 11-ranked Wildcats winning 64-38.
Lawrence North outscored the Royals in each of the four quarters, going up 16-8 after one period and 29-15 at halftime. Southeastern scored 14 points in the third period, but 18 points from the Wildcats gave them a 47-29 advantage heading into the fourth.
Donovan Hamilton led the Royals scoring with 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and also collected eight rebounds and made four steals. Tyler Lacy had seven points and seven assists.
Southeastern is 9-13 and will play in Class 4A Sectional 8 at Noblesville next week. The Royals drew a bye and will play the Westfield-Fishers winner on March 4 in the semi-finals.
