Royals boys lacrosse wins all-county game

The Hamilton Southeastern boys lacrosse team beat Westfield 21-1 Wednesday in an all-county game.
Ten different Royals players scored at least one goal. Connor Ruhnow led the way with four goals, while Garrett Smith dished out five assists to go with his two goals. Michael Mattaliano and Louden Sundling both got three goals, while Brandon Sogocio, Grayson Trede and Shane Gastineau all scored two. Gastineau had two assists as well. Owen O’Rourke, Ian Smith and Blaine Wertz all got one goal
Goalkeeper Colin Krekeler defended well, allowing only one goal and five shots. Dillon O’Rourke got three ground balls.
Alex Dieckmeyer scored the Shamrocks’ goal.
