The Westfield and Noblesville Unified Track teams are going to the IHSAA state finals.
Both teams finished fourth at their respective regionals last Saturday, thus ensuring a spot at this Saturday’s state meet, which takes place at Indiana University. The Shamrocks qualified out of the Kokomo regional, while the Millers advanced from the Bedford North Lawrence regional.
The top six teams from each regional advance to state.
Westfield won the boys 4×100 relay at its regional, and also got section wins from Heidi Burke in the 100 dash and Ava Owens in the 400 dash. Noblesville swept both the boys and girls 4×100 relays, while Eliza Bozell won her section of the 100 dash, Talon Nicholson won Section 1 of the 400 dash and David Lesko won a flight of the shot put.
