The event itself is free. However, there will be many ways to help raise money to give back to Special Needs Living Indiana (SNL) Autism Nonprofit Partners. A new featured cocktail will be crafted each week with $10 from each cocktail going toward the fundraiser. In addition, 10 percent of food sales from 1205 Distillery will be donated. All money raised from games and raffles will go directly to the fundraiser.

Each week, doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and will close at 10 p.m. Lu Dog’s Grilled Dogs will be featured each week. Mini Sweets will be there Sept. 13 and 27. Becky the Bakester will be there Sept. 20. You can enjoy the various Rock Garage Bands each week as they share different genres of music with you.

Rock Garage is a band program built upon the principles of band chemistry, live experience, and fun. Rock Garage members can join a band then choose and even create their own music to perform at local venues. The goal of Rock Garage is to help young and old, experienced and beginner musicians to become part of the musical excitement around Indianapolis. Rock Garage offers online or in-person lessons in guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, mandolin, banjo and vocals.

Rock Garage is also very active in the community, becoming involved in many events such as this fundraiser. The public is invited to join Rock Garage in this latest venture to give their support.

About Rock Garage

Rock Garage was born out of the pandemic shutdown when Dave & Kate Foellinger, Steve & Kimberly Klinger and Preston & Rocky Nash joined forces to start a Facebook group for musicians to talk about music, upload their songs and share ideas. The group grew to more than 800 members from all over the world and eventually led to establishing a new website and a physical location in the summer of 2020. The Castleton business, located at 8115 Center Run Road, has three large rooms for bands to rehearse and record their music, and smaller rooms for private lessons.
