Dear Editor:

Robyn Cook has served two terms as Jackson Township Trustee, demonstrating excellence and compassion throughout her tenure. Her leadership has combined sound fiscal management, responsive assistance to residents, and a strong commitment to public safety and community partnerships.

Fiscal management & resident assistance

Robyn has managed the township’s budget effectively, drawing on the business acumen she developed through many years of fiscal management in the public realm. During the financial difficulties caused by COVID-19, she provided skilled and effective assistance to Jackson Township residents. She also partnered with the Hamilton County Trustee Association and Hamilton County government agencies to administer millions of dollars in federal assistance.

Community partnerships & support

Robyn has developed strong partnerships with local nonprofits to provide residents with comprehensive wraparound services. She successfully advised and supported low-income families through challenging economic times and during the recent flooding, helping connect them with needed assistance. She also was a very proactive member of the Cicero/Jackson Township Comprehensive Plan steering committee.

Investment & public safety

Robyn has wisely managed and invested township funds through TrustINdiana, which has consistently increased township revenues. She has also demonstrated her passion for public safety by organizing, planning, and rallying support for a new and expanded fire station on donated land. This effort demonstrated the vision necessary to support the future growth occurring in Jackson Township.

As a longtime resident of Jackson Township and a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School, Robyn is dedicated to her community and works to improve the lives of those she serves. I personally worked with Robyn when I represented Jackson Township as a State Representative and can attest to her tremendous work effect, competency, and compassion for her community. She has earned and deserves your vote. It is a pleasure and without hesitance that I highly recommend her for the Jackson Township Trustee.
