February 19, 1942 – November 13, 2018
Robert L. Holland, 76, Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born on February 19, 1942 to William “Bill” and Ann (Pape) Holland in Springfield, Ill.
Bob worked as a stockbroker for over 15 years and owned a family business, Party Tree, in Carmel for over 20 years.
Bob was a life-long avid golfer and belonged to the Pebble Brook Men’s Club where he was fondly referred to as “SLOMO.” He loved dogs, fishing, swimming and any sandy beach he could put his toes in. He loved all sports, especially if there was a daughter, grandchild or great-grandchild playing. He loved a good blues song. Bob will always be remembered as a practical joker who loved a good laugh. But mostly he will be remembered as the loving, caring and wonderful Dad, Papa and friend that he was.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Holly (Terry) Howard and Allison Scheib; grandchildren, Amanda Holland, Nancy Howard, TJ Howard, Alex Howard, Samantha Scheib, Ashley Scheib and Louie Scheib; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Revae, Keira, Ashlyn, Trey, Jayden and Tylan; and siblings, Barb Patrilla and Sandy Hamrick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Holland in 2001; and his brother, William Holland Jr.
Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with visitation from 4 p.m. to the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240, or at alz.org/indiana/donate
