Robert Goodman Jewelers is joining with nearly 30 Main Street District businesses to celebrate the inaugural Zionsville Summer Art Walk from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 27.
Both local and regional artists will appear at locations throughout the District, showcasing their talents while meeting and interacting with guests to the Village.
Musician Rosie Inman and artist Jess Smith will entertain in front of Robert Goodman Jewelers, 106 N. Main Street, presenting live music and live art demonstrations, respectively.
“We’re thrilled to participate in our community’s very first Summer Art Walk, and to have two amazing artists scheduled to be out in front of our store throughout the event,” said Rose-Marie Goodman, co-owner of Robert Goodman Jewelers.
Inman returns to Zionsville to perform for family, friends and locals – many of whom supported her art and music endeavors earlier in her career. The Purdue University graduate, currently based in Indianapolis, says she “loves to play for any crowd” and is especially looking forward to this opportunity to entertain in her hometown.
Smith is a multidisciplinary artist based in Indianapolis’ Garfield Park neighborhood. A 2016 Herron School of Art & Design graduate, her work explores themes of memory, motherhood and transformation, often inspired by “the everyday magic of raising my six-year old daughter.” She will offer live art demonstrations in front of Robert Goodman Jewelers during Summer Art Walk.
“We hope that people who know and love Zionsville will come out and join all of us throughout the Main Street District for this inaugural event – and we especially invite those who would like to become more familiar with the Village to attend on June 27 and discover Zionsville’s charm,” Goodman said. “It’s going to be a wonderful evening.”
