Rita Jane Boles, 75, passed away at her home in Noblesville on Wednesday evening, June 21, 2023. Born in Tennessee on January 30, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe & Jane (Casten) Boles. She attended Noblesville High School and later worked on the production line for IDI of Noblesville.
Rita’s family (and that includes all her fur-babies) was, without a doubt, the most important thing in her life. She always looked forward to her grandchildren coming over to visit and never met an animal (pet or otherwise) that she didn’t immediately love. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and doted over her four-legged friends.
Rita is survived by her two daughters, Inka Glidden (Mike) of Sheridan and Kimberly Forrer (Larry) of Noblesville; four grandchildren, Ashley, Gary, Tommy, and Neal; four great-grandchildren, Landon, Brayden, Elizabeth, and Lillian; brother, Don Boles (Mary) of Noblesville; and her sister, Joyce Poe (Bill) of Cicero.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe & Jane (Casten) Boles; six siblings; and by her son, Terry Baldwin.
In honoring Rita’s wishes, no services are being planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society.
