March 1, 1963 – April 5, 2023
Ricky Joe Beaver, 60, Noblesville, was born March 1, 1963. He passed away along with his beloved wife, Elizabethe Anne “Bethe” (Horine) Beaver, 57, on April 5, 2023, due to an airplane crash in Venice, Fla. Rick was the oldest child and only son to Billy and Gary Beaver and father to four children, three stepchildren, and nine grandchildren.
Family was important to Rick. Being born and raised in Noblesville, Rick was proud to join the family business, Beaver Materials, out of high school (NHS Class of 1982) where he worked for more than 27 years. He then went onto the commercial construction business as vice president of CTC. Later, Rick chose to begin his own venture with Beaver Construction Management, where he shared his strong work ethic with his sons, as they joined him in business.
Rick had an adventurous spirit and was always willing to try something new. Throughout his life, he loved anything with an engine, from race cars, dirt bikes, ATVs, boats, airplanes, or heavy equipment. But the greatest passion in his life was using his life experiences to share Jesus with those around him. He loved volunteering with many ministries such as Crossroads & Hamilton County Great Banquets, Kairos prison ministry, Young Life, chaplain for American Motorsports Ministries, many men’s Bible studies, or just having coffee with a hurting friend. Rick and Bethe loved to travel and did so as often as possible. Rick loved big and played hard.
Along with his parents, Rick is survived by his loving children Andy (Jes) Sherley of Sheridan, Christian (Candice) Beaver of West Lafayette, Ind., Mitchell (Karis) Beaver of Cicero, and Alivia Beaver of Noblesville; his stepchildren, Robbie (Katelin) Horine of Fishers, Annie (Jordan) Jackson of Greenwood, Ind., and Katherine Sarno of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Sonya, Phoebe, Whitney, Rosa, Jack, Edan, Max, Riley, and Peyton; siblings, Janet (Jack) Ditslear of Noblesville and Mendy (Brian) Campbell of Noblesville; and nieces and nephews, Jake (Mariah) Ditslear, Anna (Will) Wheatley, Sam Ditslear, Ella Ditslear, Bailey (Alex) Campbell, and Blake Campbell.
Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aldred & Sylvia (Bailey) Felton and Marion & Eleanor (Fisher) Beaver.
A joint memorial service will be held in Rick and Bethe’s honor as they relish the gift of eternal life in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Grace Church, 5504 E. 146th St., Noblesville. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Grace Church, 5504 E. 146th St., Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
