Richard Cleo Wright, 67, Arcadia, passed away on May 17, 2022, at I.U. North Hospital in Carmel.

He was born February 26, 1955, in Tipton, Ind., to Paul and Peggy (Stanley) Wright. He was also protective of cats and dogs in his neighborhood and cared for them as needed.

His family related that he was held in high esteem by all of them and was the favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was a good listener to all and wonderful care giver to his mother and stepfather. He enjoyed fishing and listening to classic rock and roll music. He also liked to prepare food and his siblings said he came up with some strange combinations, but it worked for him and was very tasty.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Paul and Peggy Wright; stepfather, Robert Stringer; and sister, Patti Bess.

Surviving him are three sisters, Cindie Million of Anderson, Ind., Mickie Kerfoot of Marble Falls, Texas, and Paula Adair of Kokomo, Ind.; brothers, David Wright of Jasonville, Ind., and Robert Wright of Bowling Green, Ind.; plus 18 nieces and nephews.
