A wave of automotive passion rolled through Noblesville as car lovers of all ages gathered for the Tom Wood Volkswagen Noblesville Cruise-In, held Saturday afternoon, June 28. This family-friendly summer celebration brought together stunning vehicles, great food, lively entertainment, and an unbeatable community vibe.

Car enthusiasts from across the region lined up at the dealership at 14701 Tom Wood Way to showcase their classic restorations and custom remodels. With 50 vehicles participating, the event offered an impressive lineup of craftsmanship and creativity, drawing admiration from seasoned collectors and casual fans alike.

Event highlights

  • Classic & custom cars: Dozens of unique rides turned heads, each with its own story and style – from vintage restorations to head-turning mods.
  • Music: The vibrant soundtrack of the evening kept energy high and spirits lifted.
  • Free eats: Guests enjoyed complimentary bites from the Serendipity Food Truck.
  • Summer treats: Free Kona Ice was on hand to cool everyone down.
  • Family fun: With face painting, balloon artists, and goody bags for the first 25 guests, the event brought fun for all ages.

Awards honoring automotive excellence

The excitement peaked with the Best in Show competition, open to the full VW family – including Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche entries. Participants competed for a grand prize valued at $939, featuring:

  • VW Dark Room Skydome Camping Tent
  • Pelican 30-quart Elite Cooler

Congratulations to the 2025 Cruise-In Award Winners:

  • Best in Show: Mark Humphrey of Indianapolis with his 1962 VW Double Cab
  • Classic Restore: Tony Fuller of Fishers with a beautifully restored 1967 Pontiac Firebird
  • Custom Mod: Eric Francis of Fishers with a striking 2009 VW Tiguan

Each award-winning vehicle represented the creativity, dedication, and love of car culture that defined the entire evening.

Celebrating cars & community

More than just a car event, the Cruise-In was a celebration of community spirit and shared passion. Attendees left with full hearts, great memories, and plenty of photos of the jaw-dropping vehicles on display.

“We’re thrilled by the turnout and the enthusiasm from our community,” Sales Manager Lauren Bailey said. “Having 50 cars participate and so many families join us really speaks to the strength of our local car culture. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Cruise-In!”
