The Hamilton County Reporter is proud to announce our news-gathering partnership with WISH-TV Channel 8 in Indianapolis.

After visiting the WISH-TV studios to finalize the agreement, Jeff Jellison, publisher and owner of The Hamilton County Reporter, said, “To be able to sit across the table from some of the best television news producers in Indianapolis was a humbling experience.”

In January, WISH-TV expanded their own local news programming to include four hours of coverage each weekday. Likewise, this year has seen a great deal of growth in The Reporter’s reach and coverage of Hamilton County.

We have added Indiana’s Weatherman, Paul Poteet, who also has a WISH-TV connection, to our team. We have the best local sports coverage in Hamilton County. We offer more video and a larger reach on social media than any paper in the county. Our readership and reader engagement has been growing every week for several months.

Partnering with a television station that has also been investing more of their time into local news was a perfect fit.

“WISH-TV is excited to team up with the Hamilton County Reporter, as a news gathering partner, to share content and coverage,” said Randy Ingram WISH-TV president and general manager.  “We look forward to working together and further expanding our coverage of news impacting our Hamilton County viewers.”

“Hamilton County news is at the forefront of every news media outlet, as a county-wide newspaper our business is to deliver Hamilton County news,” said Jellison. “Our partnership with WISH is just another example of the Reporter’s ability to broaden the reach of our advertisers and hometown Hamilton County news.”
