Household Heroes kicks off another series of classes starting with Toilet Trouble on Thursday, Sept. 15. Want to learn how to fix common problems like a leaky toilet? This class is great for first-time homeowners, DIYers, and house flippers. Upcoming classes include:
Toilet Trouble
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15
Ages 16+ | $20
This session will cover how to fix a running or leaking toilet; swapping a fill valve, flush valve and flapper; and common problems and solutions.
Picture Hanging
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19
Ages 16+ | $20
This session will cover how to hang picture frames, mirrors, and floating shelves; how to find studs in wall; hang one-point and two-point anchors; and how to level pictures to keep them from swaying.
Drywall Repair
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17
Ages 16+ | $20
This session will cover how to patch holes of all sizes in drywall. You’ll be using putty knives, drywall jab saws, sanders, a hammer, and nails.
