Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, will hold the 2023 Indianapolis More Than Pink Walk on Saturday, Oct. 7 in Historic Military Park at White River State Park. The Walk is Susan G. Komen’s annual fundraising event where family and friends celebrate breast cancer survivors and honor those who have passed away from the disease.

The Walk will raise critical funds that support research and critical support services for breast cancer patients, including navigation services.

Breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic disease can enjoy a light breakfast and visit other survivors in Hope Village. The Walk site and activities open at 8 a.m. New activities this year include a Kidz Zone, vendors, and a Food Truck area. The Opening Ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. with the Parade of Hope taking place shortly after.

Sponsors for the event include Bank of America, Walgreens, Eli Lilly, American Honda Motor Co. Inc, Asphalt Materials Inc, Bone Dry Roofing, Accredo, Starbucks, and IU Health Cancer Centers. Walk participants will include breast cancer survivors, those living with metastatic breast cancer, co-survivors, and supporters of Susan G. Komen.
