Reba Sue Hood, 87, Noblesville, passed away October 16, 2023. She was born on August 21, 1936, in Claiborne County, Tenn., to the late Jack Butcher and Edith Irene Pace Butcher.
Reba married M. C. Hood and he preceded her in death. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Road, Fishers.
Reba is survived by her daughters, Dee Ann Prater (Harold) and Lynda K. Turnbow (Michael); daughter-in-law, Lori Hood; sisters, Velma Brattain, Evelyn Batchelor, and Wanda Grogg; brothers, Jackie Butcher and Larry Butcher; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Reba was preceded in death by her sons, Dennis A. Hood and Curtis L. Hood; brothers, Virgil, Patrick and Michael Butcher; and sister, Joan Wilkerson.
