Dear Editor:
I unfortunately had a flat tire just after heading west through the new construction on Pleasant Street. I was lucky enough after the big bang and shaking to get to the parking lot of Genesis Church. I got out, lifted the trunk up and called AAA.
I had five wonderful people stop and ask if they could help, plus two people from the Church, including Ben, who said I was more than welcome to go inside into the air conditioning. (It was 93.)
Then Jen came out with water, as a lady stopped and said she would go buy me a drink as I needed to stay hydrated. Lucky me to have all these people stop.
Then the AAA guy, Chuck, came and put on my doughnut in a few minutes and I was on my way home.
I just wanted to say thank you again to all the people that stopped.
