A community open house will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District, 1721 Pleasant St., Noblesville.
The open house will give residents a chance to explore the new shared facility and meet staff from the Hamilton County Soil & Water Conservation District, Hamilton County Household Hazardous Waste Center, and Hamilton County Weights & Measures.
- The event will feature interactive activities and displays for all ages, including:
- Tours and opportunities to learn about county programs and services
- Touch-a-tractor & equipment displays
- The Soil & Water Conservation District’s new “Conservation Starts Here” mural and conservation landscaping
- A passport activity and prize drawing
- Household hazardous waste and recycling information
- Free snow cones and refreshments
