Recognizes supporters of survivors of crime & abuse

Prevail, Inc. honored the dedication of first responders and community partners last Wednesday, April 15 during its annual Community Partner Awards, presented by Guardian Angel Restoration. The event recognized individuals and organizations whose work supports survivors and helps build a safer, more supportive community ahead of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, April 19-26.

The event honored nominees who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to fostering resilience, providing compassionate care and ensuring survivors have access to critical resources and support.

“We believe that community strengthens survivors, and this year we are honored to recognize so many exceptional first responders and community partners who are making an impact,” Prevail Executive Director Tami Wanninger said. “Together, we are creating a powerful network of trauma‑informed response for survivors in our community, ensuring they have the resources and support to heal after trauma.”

Guardian Angel Restoration, the event’s presenting sponsor, emphasized the importance of recognizing those who work daily to support survivors.

“Every day, we walk into homes where people are experiencing some of the most overwhelming moments of their lives: loss, disruption, and uncertainty,” Guardian Angel Restoration Owner Michael Talbot said. “What Prevail does goes even deeper, helping individuals heal from trauma that can’t always be seen. We are honored to stand alongside an organization that brings hope, safety, and restoration to survivors. Supporting this event is not just about recognition – it’s about reinforcing a community where no one has to face hardship alone.”
