Here are the latest schedule updates and changes regarding this week’s post-season events.
The Class 4A Sectional 8 softball championship game at Fishers between Carmel and Noblesville was postponed again. The Greyhounds and the Millers will now play at 11 a.m. this morning.
At 3A Sectional 24 at Delta, Guerin Catholic will play its semi-final game with New Castle at noon today. The winner will then play the championship game at 5 p.m., between the winner of Delta and Yorktown, who will play in the first semi-final at 10 a.m.
In baseball, Hamilton Heights will take on New Castle in a first-round game at 2 p.m. at 3A Sectional 24 at Yorktown. The Tigers and Jay County will then play at 4 p.m. The winners advance to the Monday semi-finals to face each other at 10 a.m., followed by the second semi-final between Delta and Guerin Catholic at noon. The championship game is at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Up at 1A Sectional 54 at Tri-County, the semi-final between Sheridan and Rossville is now scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday. South Newton and Clinton Central will play the second semi-final at 1 p.m., with the championship scheduled for later that day.
