Hamilton Heights cheerleaders provided a cheerful welcome for the district’s 18 new teachers as they board a school bus driven by Superintendent Dr. Derek Arrowood.
The interactive bus tour is a favorite part of the New Teacher Academy, which provides an up close and personal visit with district amenities and the communities it serves. Hamilton Heights Education Foundation President Melissa Martin leads the fun and informative historical bus tour.
The New Teacher Academy is an integral part of the onboarding process and to help new educators off to a successful start. The program is coordinated and administered by Heights Elementary School Principal Julie Griffey.
