Philip Eugene Fitzpatrick, 82, Fishers, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, October 27, 2023, at his home. He was born on May 4, 1941, to John and Maude (Raquet) Fitzpatrick in Noblesville.
Phil was a 1959 graduate of Noblesville High School and a 1975 graduate of Indiana Central College. He worked as a purchasing agent for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, retiring in 2008. He was a lifetime member of First Christian Church of Noblesville where he served as Deacon and recently as member of the Outreach Committee. Phil was the founder and Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 100 through North Elementary School, and Assistant Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 101 through Noblesville First United Methodist Church. He served as President of the Noblesville Toastmasters Club and was an Indianapolis Indians fan.
Phil is survived by his wife, Marilyn Fitzpatrick; son, Jeff Fitzpatrick; stepdaughter, Sherri Richards; stepson, Martin (Lisa) Samuels; sisters, Marlene Sigman and Diana Rice; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Rita Fitzpatrick, in 2012; and his brother-in-law, Bob Sigman.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, with services at noon, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at First Christian Church of Noblesville, 16377 Herriman Blvd., Noblesville. Rev. Dr. Brooks Barrick will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
