Pattie Butler Slezak

January 17, 1929 – May 1, 2023

Pattie Butler Slezak passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2023, at Harbour Manor nursing home in Noblesville.

She was born on January 17, 1929, to Leo and Susan “Sude” Butler in Noblesville. She graduated from Noblesville High School in 1947. She worked at the Noblesville Courthouse for several years before she and her husband Jack moved to Florida. After 18 years in the Sunshine State, they returned to Noblesville in 2003. Pattie was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in both Cicero, Ind., and West Palm Beach, Fla.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Frank Edward Craig; she was a loving wife of 38 years to second husband, Jack Slezak; daughters, Karyl Hampton and Andrea Sylvester; sisters, Roseline Bray, Mary B Dropla, and Josephine Butler; and brothers, Joseph Butler and Nathan Butler.

She is survived by her son, Michael Craig; son-in-law, Danny Hampton; granddaughters, Kerry Hampton, Kelly Cope, and Jessica Branz; grandson, Brett Craig; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services only will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. Pastor Aaron Clark will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Hamilton County or Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cicero.
