Last weekend, Panda Fest, one of the country’s fastest-growing outdoor Asian food and culture festivals, brought a signature mix of flavor, culture, and playful energy to Indianapolis’ Military Park, 601 W. New York St. Panda Fest featured more than 90 food vendors serving more than 200 dishes from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and other countries. Attendees browsed vendors showcasing their crafts, apparel, accessories, and artisanal goods inspired by Asian heritage, as well as a panda-themed bounce ring and games for kids. Unique events such as traditional lion dances, sugar painting, calligraphy, and K-pop dance and theatrical showcases were also on display. And don’t forget the 15-foot inflatable panda!
