Our Choice Coalition has endorsed Josh Lowry’s campaign for Indiana House Representative in District 24, representing parts of Hamilton and Boone counties. This coalition is the only political action committee dedicated to electing candidates who will fight to promote and prioritize Hoosiers’ rights and access to reproductive healthcare including abortion.
The co-founder and board chair of Our Choice Coalition, Liane Hulka, recognizes Lowry’s commitment to fighting for Hoosiers’ access to necessary reproductive healthcare, including abortion.
“We believe Josh Lowry will be a legislative champion who will help protect reproductive rights,” Hulka said. “Josh supports legislation allowing us to vote on issues of importance to Hoosiers, bypassing politicians who are not listening to the views of voters. He trusts women and their doctors to make private healthcare decisions without governmental interference.”
Lowry said he is committed to protecting Hoosiers’ freedoms.
“Women should be in charge of their own healthcare,” the candidate said. “In the Statehouse, I’ll protect access to IVF and birth control and will work to repeal the abortion ban not only for Hamilton and Boone Counties, but for all Hoosier women.”
Lowry has received many endorsements, including:
- National Association of Social Workers Indiana Chapter – Politician Action For Candidates
- Indiana State Teachers Association PAC
- Network for Public Education
- Better Indiana
- Candidates for Common Good
- Center for Freethought and Equality
Indiana House District 24 will be vacated by Rep. Donna Schaibley at the end of this term. The district includes parts of Westfield, Sheridan, Whitestown, Zionsville, and Carmel.
