OneZone Chamber has announced a new program in partnership with The Gideon Group.
This six-week workshop series on becoming State of Indiana Minority, Women, and Veteran Enterprise (MWVE) certified provides prospective XBE businesses with the information and guidance on the certification process to become a certified MWVE supplier in the State of Indiana.
“The Gideon Group is thrilled to announce our continued partnership with OneZone Chamber of Commerce for the XBE Workshop Series,” said Terry Dove Pittman, owner of The Gideon Group. “This is a fantastic opportunity to provide Hamilton County’s diverse array of business owners the roadmap to becoming a women, minority, or veteran-owned enterprise. These series of empowering workshops will ignite the entrepreneurial spirit and drive even greater success in our county.”
The workshop will cover key areas such as introduction to MWVE certification, eligibility criteria, the application process, review, and evaluation, maintaining the certification and leveraging opportunities, and resources and support.
“We know that the process to become a certified in the state of Indiana is difficult and we believe that with this new program we will help in the process to become certified,” OneZone President and CEO Jack Russell said. “We are excited to welcome our first 25 businesses to the class starting in October.”

The program aims to empower XBE businesses seeking MWVE certification in the State of Indiana by providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the process, requirements, and benefits.
