Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Rieth-Riley Construction will conduct bridge work on U.S. 31 in northern Hamilton County beginning on or after Saturday, Aug. 19. Crews will merge northbound and southbound traffic between 256th and 286th streets for bridge construction over Little Cicero Creek. Crews will close the right lane on Saturday during weekend paving operations. This work is expected to be complete by the end of the day, weather depending. INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution, and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
