Fishers-based OfficeWorks, a leading provider of workspace solutions, has announced its 28th annual We Care event, a heartwarming initiative in collaboration with MillerKnoll.
The event, scheduled for Dec. 7, will bring together Architect and Design (A&D) firms from central Indiana to spread holiday cheer to children at the Lilly Boys & Girls Club.
“We are excited to continue the tradition of our We Care event,” OfficeWorks President Larry Martin said. “Collaborating with A&D firms and partners like MillerKnoll allows us to bring the community together and create lasting memories for the children at the Boys & Girls Clubs.”
This unique collaboration engages A&D firms in a meaningful way, as they take on the responsibility of planning a festive craft suitable for the children. Additionally, participating firms will recruit volunteers from their teams to staff the crafting tables, guiding and assisting the children in creating special holiday gifts for their loved ones.
The main event, taking place at the Lilly Boys & Girls Club, 801 S. State Ave., Indianapolis, will see OfficeWorks and other A&D firms creating a joyful atmosphere for the children. The kids will have the opportunity to move from table to table, completing various crafts, enjoying snacks, balloon art, face painting, and engaging in other exciting activities throughout the evening.
Traditionally, prior to the challenges presented by COVID-19, OfficeWorks would collaborate with a Boys & Girls Club, bringing gifts and craft bags for the children to enjoy on their own. This year, on Dec. 12, OfficeWorks will continue this tradition by delivering carefully crafted gifts and craft bags to the Keenan-Stahl Boys & Girls Club, 1949 E. Troy Ave., Indianapolis. The items, created with care and dedication by the OfficeWorks team, will provide the children with a moment of joy during the holiday season.
