The Tiny Desk Contest is returning for the 10th year. The competition is open to all musical artists without a current recording contract. The winner will play a Tiny Desk concert at NPR in Washington, D.C., be featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, and headline NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest On The Road tour.

Competitors are encouraged to create a video showcasing a song that they have written. The video will show the singer performing a Tiny Desk concert.

A panel of judges, including members of NPR Music, DJs from NPR Member stations, industry experts and Tiny Desk alums will choose the winner. They will be looking for someone at least 18 years old and living in the United States, the Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico.

The contest will be open for entries from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024.
